Nani Marquina launched her namesake brand in 1987, inspired by her design roots and her desire to make rugs that would fuse contemporary designs with ancestral techniques.

After studying industrial design at the Escuela Massana de Barcelona and enjoying the success of her first bespoke textile designs, she decided to build a brand dedicated to the design, creation, and distribution of rugs and textiles with the values of innovation, observation, and enthusiasm.

Throughout the years nanimarquina's designs have won many prestigious awards, including the Spanish National Design Award.
